Pierson Building Center has been in the Pierson family for over 60 years and has a strong sense of pride in taking care of its employees and being an exciting place to work.

Many of the staff here have made a career working at Pierson’s. We have employees who have retired after working here for over 30 years and were proud to say they worked at Pierson Building Center.

If you are interested in a job at the Big Hammer you can come into the store and ask anyone of our helpful crew at the Information Desk, AKA the Charge Counter for an application that you can fill out and bring back for review.

We may not be hiring at the time you come in but we’re always looking for good people to join our enthusiastic crew. All applications will be reviewed personally by our hiring manager, Linzy.

Jobs include positions in the main store, the garden shop and the lumber yard. If you are Pierson’s material, you will be added to the department that either best fits your skillset or where openings are available.
